I am all for campy and shimano, and please god sram making electric shifting systems. They are going to be the ham jam, but wireless? I'll give it 3 months before someone figures out how to hack your shifting. Hell, I am already thinkng about it. Most likely it either uses radio freq, or bluetooth, and either one will probably be clonable. So you just go over to someones bike, shift it down, record the signal sent and next time you are next to them, send out that signal.

It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Whoa dude, you are on some shit there! I didn't even think of that. Although with technology these days, I'm sure there's just as easy a way to prevent that sort of thing too. If not they better think of something REAL quick...

Word, I wrote a paper on RFID technology and how to pwn newbs who use it. You'd be surprised how simple that shit is to hacks0r.

From the article it looks like they're just introducing electronic shifting, not wireless.

Given time though, all expensive/useless ideas will come to fruition.

Hmm, you've got a point there but they're not specific about the wiring harness being linked to everything or just something for the Computer.. I don't know.. Regardless the shit looks HOTT!
