$500 Mid 90's Ciocc Roadie!

Ugh.. yes.. I bought yet ANOTHER goddamn bike.. Fucking tard!

What can I say, $500 for this jam?!:

How do you say no to something like that??

More snaps here..

Specs:

Near full Campagnolo 8 speed Mirage triple group set with ergo shifters
Modolo bars and stem
FIR EA50 Clincher rims
Rare Dura Ace Fluted seat post
The tires and pedals are obviously crap..

It was a similar instance to when I picked up the Cinelli Supercorsa a couple weeks ago. Someone posted the craigslist ad on the NYC fixed forum, saw that the dude was in Jersey not 25 min from my place, hopped in the car and went to scope it out, picked it up and drove away stoked! At 57cm CTC ST & 56cm CTC TT it's a PERFECT fit! Though it's kinda sad when you can look at a shitty craigslist photo and know it's your size beyond a shadow of a doubt..

The dude I got it from said he barely ever rode it since he was too fat in the mid section to ever be able to ride it comfortably. It's been sitting in various basements for the last 15 years or so. This poor guy was SCREECHING to be saved and seen OUTSIDE for once. I rode it around for a minute and it shifted perfectly and was super wicked smooth. The damn thing can't have more than a couple hundred miles on it IF THAT. It's taken more abuse from just sitting around all these years..

I have no idea what the fuck I'm going to do with this thing..

Another townie perhaps? Another Campy 11 carbon casualty?? Either way it's just another log to help fan the flames of hopeless bike obsession :-D

So it shall be ridden, so it shall be done..

wow, i have always wanted a Ciocc, beautiful. Fat people are good for something: buying things and letting them sit as to not be broken.

p.s. This blog is probably the best bike blog i have come across, keep it up!
