What the- Cinelli PASTA on ebay??!!!

Cinelli Pasta ... yes, PASTA !!! Made in Italy !!! New

For the collector that has (almost) everything, Charity

For auction is a packet of spaghetti:

Durum Wheat Semolina, natural spring water from the Magella National Park which should be in the Abruzzo region if the packet suggests correctly. It's nice and filling.

Made in Italy and imported by Cinelli Australia PTY LTD. It says so on the back of the packaging.

You are bidding on one unopened packet of pasta. Shipping is free and all the proceeds from the auction go to charity. Please don't be a knob .. just having a little fun and I'm offering free postage worldwide and paying all auction fee's. I will donate 100% of the final auction price to charity (details below).

This is not an invite to dinner and I'm not cooking anything for you. Actually a few of you pass that rule ... namely Dave Hickey and teh J's, thinkcooper too ... but you'll prolly want to bring some 'shrooms Coop ;) Also, that decal dude Cyclomondo is on the top of my dinner invite list - especially as Pimpissimo™® (his real name) is the Jay-Z of the bike world: big pimping bicycles 24/8 and he already owns every noteworthy classic racing bicycle ever made. Dale Brown of Classic Rendezvous too 'coz he's a class act but lemme know in advance as I'll prolly need another pack, eh?

Sorry ladies .... as is obvious by the pics below I'm already taken (by a woman !!! nttawwt) and very happy (reads: scared of being buried in a shallow grave near the vege's). On that note Daniel Auteuil ... you're not allowed to bid. I'm tired of watching every French romantic comedy just because my Mrs. has the hots for you and no matter what she says you're not invited for dinner.

Pics are shown merely to represent just one way of serving it. Garlic, olive oil, spring onions, tuscan kale, baby spinach, snow peas, string beans, fennel, baby broccoli, fresh herbs and a simple salad all picked fresh from my little garden. Finished with a squeeze of lemon juice and some Australian olive oil. Why Australian? Because it's good, and because them Italians keep all the really good stuff for themselves and export olive oil brought in from Spain and repackaged as their own. 4 realz!!!

On that note: Radio stations I question their blackness... they call themselves Black but we'll see if they play this !!!! (I always wanted to ambiguously quote Chuck D of Public Enemy, just for kicks)

Anyway, I've made the pasta vegetarian-ism. I've even shown it pictured without parmesan (Grana thank you) so as to not offend the Vegan's and the drink is just Chinotto so you straightedge heads feel a part of this party too. Btw, why is all you vegan, X-er's buying up all the vintage track stuff up anyway? Whatever. Instead of wood fired ciabatta I've served mine with flatbread so our Middle Eastern brothers who make jihad by cycling also don't feel left out. Seeming that I'm so busy pleasing everyone I may as well make it public that I fully support land rights for gay whales. And for our extra-terrestrials out there ... All your base are belong to us. Everybody happy now ???

oops, Sorry to all you Celiac's - it does contain gluten :(

You may not even eat it, who cares ... you might just leave it on the shelf with your NOS ca. 1981 Richard Sachs (how does that happen?!?!?), just what you need for the l'Eroica Classic coming up or you may even leave it for special occasions to have with Masi wine and Cinelli Olive Oil.

The cooking instructions are on the packet ... in seven languages. If you overcook it or don't season it properly or if it doesn't taste good then it's not my problem and you must be pretty lame to stuff up such a simple thing like pasta. You don't have to eat it whilst being surrounded by Cinelli products (Giro d'Italia, old logo Campione del Mondo, Grammo, Pista bars/stem and sloping crown forks) ... I do, but if you haven't noticed I'm an incurable bike geek !!!

I will donate 100% of the final auction price to charity and will verify by email and show the winning bidder following auction end. Donation will be in my name and will go to Médecins Sans Frontières. They are an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters.

Postage is free Worldwide. I'm not sure about Customs and food quarantine laws for your country so check on that before bidding. It's just a packet of pasta. The idea of helping to provide medical aid for people all over the world regardless of race, religion, language or geography is so much more important and is the real reason you are bidding ;)
