I just spat all over my screen..

..upon witnessing this:

I don't have any details on this crazy ass bike other than the fact that the owner must also be a Stryper fan..

Heading off to NAHBS..?

Of course we have to get WAILED by one of the gnarliest blizzards ever. Fucking PITA!

In any case, I'm all dug out now and will begin my journey shortly. See all ya'll who'll be in attendance!!

For those of you locals and visitors in Richmond this weekend, be on the look out for Mike's Custom Folder! It's a light blue version so be sure to keep that in mind..

The very LAST anyone should have to worry about at a big ass bike show is their bike being stolen- SO LAME!!!

Sorry to hear it Mike! Hope it turns up somewhere soon!!

Mini Bike Winter and CHARIOT WARS!

I really, really want to make it out for this one of these years. Looks like hella fun!

Here's some recap photos and video via Projekt B and

If only NYC wasn't so chock full o stuck up fashion conscious prissy hipster bitches who's main priorities are being way cool, wicked trendy and forking out WAY too much money to live in shoebox sized apartments. Then maybe we could have a better freak bike culture here. And yes, I know there was Bike Kill for a while but I'm not talking about a once a year thing..

The main reason it bums me out that there isn't more out there on the subject of, along with blogs talking about and covering freak bike events, is that it's something just about anyone can do. I mean yeah, you need some tools and a little know how but having the internet means you can easily DIY the whole thing on your own regardless of experience. Tools can be borrowed or bought relatively cheaply from handy man relatives, craigslist, Nashbar and Home Depot. Bikes and parts can be found and bought wicked cheap as well. Also, and this is the main kicker, not all of us out there can afford to collect and hoard crazy ass expensive rare bike parts etc such as assholes like myself. Freak bike building gives the average enthusiast an outlet to enjoy another facet of cycling while creating something unique with their own hands and best of all- CHEAP and FUCKEN FUN!!!

So here's the to all the people out there tinkering around and building weird ass bikes for the hell of it and having an awesome time all the while- KEEP IT UP!

..and send me some links while you're at it fuckface!

Seen in Philly!

As was breakfast at the Famous 4th St Delicatessen:
