Also not cheap so it's not happening unfortunately. Otherwise I'd LOVE to own this sweet mini machine! Shit, I'd ride it around for the hell of it myself :-)

It def looks cool but it's a bit too smooth and slick lookin' for me. If I HAVE to have a logo it needs to have a more janky uneven hand drawn look to it. Just seems like a better fit that way..

I'm not really sure why but I'm DYING to hang and go riding with those chicks. I SWEAR I don't mean that in a pervy I'm twice your size and could mangle you with little to no effort kinda way either.. well, not totally anyway. I just sit here and laugh whenever I look at their blog. It's like LOL cat only with tiny Asian chicks instead. It's like, they ride their teeny bikes around, take the occasional spill, eat odd looking food, flip off the camera with the peace sign CONSTANTLY and pose for silly pictures. And the clincher is- drum roll please.. 90% of the photos are taken with crappy cell phone cameras! Entertainment at it's finest I'm TELLING YOU!

I got news from Harry over at Brooklyn Bike Jumble (WHICH IS HAPPENING THIS SUNDAY!!!) about some photos us being in a new book from a German publisher called Gestalten:

I know, it's unfortunate but it HAS to be done. I've been racking my fucking brain like you don't even know trying to come up with a logo that I'm actually into. I went through quite a few rounds, had some awesome help and opinions from friends but just couldn't come up with anything I felt like I could really stand behind. No amount of sticky green stuff was exhuming any good ideas either! Until yesterday of course when I came up with this:

Yeah, yeah, I know I can't draw for shit. Anyways that's the first rough version. I'm thinking of either doing a second 'nicer' rough version or having someone do a vectored smooth version on the computes. The peeps I've shown it to so far have been digging on it so I'm pretty stoked! I guess what I'm looking for here is what all ya'll cunty bastards think since you're going to be stuck looking at it too. So let's have it!

Oh and just to be clear, the arrows are to signify the direction of pedaling while also eluding to the recycling of bicycles etc..

Anyways, your thoughts, opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I spent all day at work redrawing the original hand drawn logo in photoshop. I dig it:


I know I could've used illustrator and made it all smooth but I kinda wanted to keep it more on the janky and hand drawn side of things. Seems more fitting that way..

The Frame is in THE BEST condition I HAVE EVER SEEN outside of a new Nagasawa frame. The ONLY marks on it is around the drop outs and like, two or three pin pricks on the chain stay. Since I've owned it I MIGHT have put like 200ish miles on it. The saddle and wrap are white so they're obviously not so clean anymore. Super, super sick frame and rides like a fucking DREAM. Summer Slacker Ride Series: FREAKING AWESOME!!!

I put together a group ride this past Sunday for local forum members and it was wicked fun!

I basically wanted to host a fun ride on the less masochistic side of cycling for anyone who isn't really interested in racing, points or wattage etc. Kinda like my stoner ass. The first ride in the series was a super chill low key ride out to Jacob Riss Park Beach..

Before hitting the beach we stopped at the Brighton Bazzar along the way for some wicked tasty eats from their buffet:

Sick huh? Quite possibly the most emotionally shocking buffet I've ever seen!

Then we rolled over and hung out at the beach. We enjoyed all the rad food with names we couldn't pronounce, caught some rays along with a few z'zz too..

Beers were drank, pot was smoked and everyone enjoyed the lackadaisical-ness of it all..

One the way home we made a quick stop at Bottle Beach to check out some old washed up landfill junk from a 100 years ago:

But we had fun guiltlessly breaking bottles and trackle-crossing a bit:

Afterwords we rolled on back to our Adrianna's place to enjoy some BBQ akshun:

A bunch of our less lazy friends came by after racing at Kissena 's opening weekend which was awesome. I made burgers from scratch, asparagus, and roasted some wicked tasty spicy Italian sausages. The Vegan's cooked vegany things as well..

Man what a fucking awesome day! Everything went smooth and everyone had a great time. Super stoked for the next ride we do :-)

Future rides include the Yonkers Power Plant, Rusty Boats out on Staten Island, Asbury Park NJ and possibly Beacon/Cold Spring NY..
