Since we're on the topic of music...

There's nothing like a little King Diamond for that ass!

Do yourself a favor and watch it the second time around while reading the lyrics...

Time for some MUCH needed spring cleaning!

I was looking through all my shit the other night and decided it was about time to get rid of a bunch of gear that's been sitting around for WAY too long. Here's a little preview of what's to come:

Colnago Master Light roadie locker:

Cinelli Demi Fond Adjustable Track stem:

French Pivo adjustable Track stem and bars:

And the most painful one, a 50's Hetchins Magnum Opus Lug set and curly tubing:

Alright, I hope everyone out there in cycling nerdsville can appreciate how difficult it is for me to release my icy cold grip on these tastier than tasty items. I'll be sure to update this post once I list everything on ebay...

In the meantime, there's plenty more where this came from on my Flickr set...

OT: Back in the drivers seat again...

Sorry it's been a little slow around here lately. As some of you already know, I left my old job of 12 years and moved on to another gig. In doing so, I ripped off one of my co-workers and brought them with me. Then my old boss called me up and said I had to come back since he was short handed. So after three months of being gone, I find myself helping yet ANOTHER issue of Rolling Stone Magazine escape the clutches of a number of people I despise. And here I thought I was though it was all past me! Well, he is paying me $35 and hour. I think I'll manage pulling doubles for another day...

1. Major Taylor Stem
2. Philippe Stem
3. Pivo Stem
4. 3ttt Stem
5. Cinelli Demi Fond Stem

First two have happy homes as you can see. While following three as of yet do not. Every now and then I'm tempted to sell em' off. The only problem is that right as the thought is conjured in my brain, a wicked cold shiver down runs down my spine...

wwwwWICKED Waterford Randonneur Roadie FOR SALE: 57cm and Basically BRAND NEW!!!

This one is no fucking joke my friends. This was a customer's newly built custom project. He's the type of guy who's more into the chase than the catch so to speak. Prob has around 10-20 miles TOPS. Which basically makes it BRAND SPANKING NEW! Campy chorus group, Paul center pull brakes, Brooks saddle, etc..

Very minimal and very classy for a randonneur roadie. As you see here in mint/new condition, it's priced at $6 mutha fukin' G's suhyn! If you're interested and our shite economy doesn't impair your judgment, please let me know...

More photo's and specs on my Flickr...

An ode to DKNY and their stupid fucking orange bikes ad campaign...

I was so inspired by, well.. myself.. that I decided to skip the traditional formalities and just make some fuckin' ART!!!

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRT!!!!!!

Seeing as how I hate myself almost as much as I'm sure a lot of you fucking assholes do, I couldn't resist taking the piss out of myself after the bitchy rant I posted a little while ago on this subject... And in all honesty, who DOESN'T like to light shit on fire? Oh, right. People who DO have a sufficient grasp on reality.. Well in any case: ENJOY!

Entitled: Die, Die My Darling...

Entitled: Mommy, Can I Go Out And Kill Tonight?

Entitled: American Nightmare

More masterpieces on my Flickr...

As if that wasn't good enough, my lady made this STELLAR video documenting yours truly doling out some major artistic expression on that ass:

I nearly shat myself with excitement after I seen that shit!!!

Hopefully the douche's over at DKNY's marketing department will too!

Two KILLER Yamaguchi's + one broken arm = TOTAL FUCKING BUMMER!!!

Grant, the lucky owner of not one, but two.. Hey, wait a minute- STOLEN AS OF 2/29?!! FUCKING HARSH MAANNN!!!! Damn, and I thought it was bad enough that you busted your arm days after scoring yourself a killer new Yamaguchi Pursuit frame off ebay, but to have your other sswwwweeeet Yamaguchi Roadie stolen too??? Fuck man.. My heart goes out to ya- as does many others I'm sure. Everybody be on the lookout for this sexy machine! If you see someone riding it who goes by any other name, be sure and make buddies with them. Then lure them away from prying eyes where they can receive a proper beating and Grant can get his whip back. I mean, who in fuck's name even steals a bike like that? That's like poaching a Lambo and wondering why everyone's giving you weird looks...

ALL BIKES THIEVES MUST DIE!!!!!!

Oh, and BTW, Here's my suggestion of how you should set that new shit up:

Risers are cool too...

My rant for this evening...

I just saw this post on the fixed.gr/nyc/ site:

Hub and Spokes: Imageability of the Daily Bicycle Commuter in New York City

In a city that is dominated by the automobile I want to find out how its residents who use other modes of transportation actually view the built environment. While all forms of transit modes could be studied, I find that this small minority (0.5% of residents who commute by bike) would make for an interesting study. The sole purpose is to record the subjective perspective (mental image/imageability) New York City bicycle commuters have of the build environment, good or bad, through a survey. The survey is 23 questions and will take less than 10 minutes to complete. No compensation will be provided for participation in this study.

more info @ hubandspokes.blogspot.com

Being an NYC cyclist commuter type, I took the survey. At the very end was an 'additional comments' section which I normally leave blank whenever I take part in some random survey. However this time, I kinda went to town on it for once:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think over the last few years the city has made some great improvements for cyclists. Having said that I feel like they've barely just begun. Compared to some of the more friendly bicycling cities, NYC is still pretty horrible. Making the streets safe is going to take A LOT more than just putting in nice bike lanes. Driver awareness is by far the biggest issue. This city is filled with way too many ignorant, uptight, fucktard drivers who have no conception of anyone else on the road. Let alone a cyclist rolling along on their 20 lb bike while they dangerously speed by in 2 ton vehicles. Let's not even get started with the 'yellow menace'. Actually no, you know what, forget about all the bike lanes. Just take all the fucking yellow cabs off the street and watch quality of life raise substantially in every fucking sector OVERNIGHT... Anyways, that's my rant for this evening...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry, but I FUCKING despise cabs. I mean, sure they're convenient as shit sometimes but you know what, 95% of the time they're just in your fucking way. I thought it was bad enough having to deal with them when I'm driving, but almost being killed by one nearly everytime I'm spinning on two wheels is getting to be a bit much...

I say either get fucking rid of them or put Q-U-A-L-I-F-I-E-D drivers behind the wheel. You know, LIKE THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO...

Oh and BTW, if you just happen to see me hop into a cab this morning because the 1 train was fucked up, you're sorrily mistaken..........

Ines Bruin during San Diego Critical Mass...

This has got to be the first time she's made a public appearance and left the frizzly g-string outfit at home. The spoke card is a nice touch too...

What I wouldn't do to receive a proper beating from a woman with a ripped upper body like that.. But only after I got a couple good shots in first...
