So who else is going to the range this Valentines day?

For those of you lucky enough to be in the presence of a fine young lady not only willing but eager to hit the range with you this Valentines day weekend, print yourself out a few of these bad boys:

Okay, so yeah, they're kinda ghey but kind of awesome at the same time- think of the difference in dispersion patterns between the two of ya! Should be good for kicks and funny looks at the range. My lady friend got a kick out of em so I win already, hehe. The larger file can be found here. I printed up like 6 of these 22"x44" and they look pretty bitchin'!

I'll be down in Philly this weekend hanging around Bilenky Cycleworks and some of the other shops no doubt to say what's up and drool on rad bike shit while entertaining said lady friend..

Oh and just to be clear, I totally am not big on Valentine's day or most any other Hallmark holidays. Tho since it appears that I'm going to have a good time FOR ONCE I might as well enjoy myself while it lasts. So stop being such a bitch and just be happy that I'm not talking about jerking off for fucking once..

NAHBS WEEKEND AFTER NEXT!!!

Sorry for the mix up in the headline builders- hope I didn't freak you out too much!

I'm sure many of you are aware and excited that NABHS has FINALLY come to the east coast this year. At about a 5-6 hour drive from NYC I'm thinking I really have no excuse not to go. I'm thinking of making the drive down after work on Friday, staying at some crappy hotel/motel or floor/couch if available, hanging out all day Saturday before taking off and making the drive back home. Might be into staying for Sunday but I'm not sure yet. Just a loose plan for now..

As you can expect, I will be photographing the living shit out of everything there along with partaking in whatever other blog worthy things I can think of. Yes, I know exactly how much of a tragedy it is to utter the phrase 'blog worthy' BTW.

So for those of you in attendence, maybe I'll see you there! Please be sure to send me any other related events going on that weekend. I'm completely unaware of anything aside from the show so please be sure to send me anything at all. Flyers too if you got em!

You'll have to pardon my absence of late..

..because I've been having one sssssSLAYCATIOUS time the past week and half or so. It's a long story which you don't get to hear about here. You'll have to go to my twitter page for that ;)

In any case, I've been keeping busy with whatever free time I have (mostly at work) trying to get things done. Hopefully I'll have something cool soon..

For now tho, check out this redonkulous Kid's Concept bike by Keith Anderson on ebay:

The fenders are SICK!

Then there's also this:

I don't know about you guys but I can't think of a better way to spend $500 than on a bunch of small parts to take 30 grams off my wankered our road bike. Oh to live the life where spending that much money on bolts and housings makes complete sense..

PRICE DROP on Mercian Track Wheels! SOLD!!!

Sorry everyone, they gone!

I posted about these wheels a little while back and am lookin' to move em now at a great discounted price!

In an attempt to de-red the Mercian, I've decided to pass the wheels on to someone else. I've got a lovely new set which will go on there shortly. Here's the deets:

Red Anodized Phil Wood 32 Hole single fix hubs laced to Velocity Deep V clinchers:

They've got very, very low miles on them (2-300 MAX) and are still in awesome condition!

Price for them includes the Vittoria tires which are also in great condition along with one NEW replacement tire

$425

Now: $350!

Might also consider selling some of the other red parts if anyone's interested. More full build pics here..

It kinda kills the shit out of me to sell these since I actually dig how red the fuckin' thing is. I guess part of it reminds me of a time when anodized parts weren't so readily available for fixed gear bikes. I remember having a bitch of a time finding things for it. In any case, these days I've been really diggin on the more classic low pro tubular rims on these types of bikes so it's time for a little change..

1988 Cannondale Black Lightning!

I picked this up from a cool local dude for $170. Not in the best of shape but with a little tune up it'll be awesome once more. I'm not a huge fan of Cannondales but I've always dug the Black Lightning. While this one doesn't fit me I had one not long ago that was beat to shit and missing a whole lotta parts. I sold it confident in the knowledge that I'd never find another to swap parts out. So, here I am once again regretting having sold something I shouldn't have YET AGAIN..

Skateboarding FAIL soon to be WIN!

My buddy Tom from the previous post came out to the Jerz to make some skate shots this past weekend. It was like 15 degrees and my stiff frozen ass just wasn't having a good time.

The Objects are what appears to be two old 45 degree triangular wooden cement molding structures. I spotted them a month ago and flipped my shit wanting to hit them up one day. They're steep as hell with no lip. I managed to make something suitable with some wood laying around and an old steel sign I had in the back of my car but it would explode and get out of wack everytime I hit it..

The run up is decent but was strewn with salt and gravel. Also making it difficult was the fact the spot is located on an island smack dab in the middle of THE GNARLIEST interchange on route 1/9. Cars EVERYWHERE..

I took a whole bunch of runs at it but I just couldn't put anything down..

Beaten, dirty and cold as a mother fucking fuck we decided to call it a day. While the battle was lost the war is far from over. We've vowed to make another trip back to the same spot on a warmer day with stout hearts, a broom and a battery powered drill..

WE WILL NEVA SURRENDAH!!!

Beard trimmings use # 107

For those of you familiar with Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away will of course recall the dust spirits Kamagi created to shuttle coal for the boiler. Well when I shaved my big gnarly beard off I created a ball with the trimmings. I couldn't help but see a resemblance to the characters from the film and with the addition of some cartoony googly eyes it was spot on!

Googly eyes and photos by TOMMMEEEEEE!!!

BTW, if you have no idea of what I'm talking about, do yourself a favor and just go fucking see Spirited Away and every other film by Miyazaki. TRUST ME! They're all AMAZING!!

For those of you who missed out on this Sunday's New York Post..

CHECK. IT. OUT:

BAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAYYYEEAAAAHHHHSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Holy mother fucking christ that is some AMAZING shit right there ain't it?! Sooooo totally blows the whole New York Press Cool Nerd cover fiasco from a while back WAY out of the fuckin' water!

When I was first invited to take part in the NYP's Meet Market lifestyle dating section I was like- 'oooo, I don't know. That could be really embarrassing..' But then a minute later I realized- Holy shit, not only will it be SUPER embarrassing, but it would undoubtedly be so embarrassing to the point where it all cancels itself out and becomes nothing but SUPER FUCKING HILARIOUS AND AWEZOME!!! For those of you familiar with the NYP, man-o-man did they EVER deliver huh?! I mean, come on- CHECK OUT SOME OF THOSE HEADLINES! I knew that when it came down to it, the more silly and forthcoming I was with the questionnaire they had me fill out, the more ammo they would have when twisting my words around with gut wrenchingly hhhuuuuuurrrreeeennnndous results. Fuck, fucking yeah! Soooo stoked on that shit!!

Not to mention who's shirt I'm wearing! Don't you think at the very least I've more than earned a free ticket to Japan or something from Ben's considering the fact that I slipped their logo into a national publication??

So I really hope you fuckheads can truly appreciate the great lengths I'm willing to go for all ya'llzez entertainment. Be sure and leave some awesome comments on the site and stay tuned for the results of my date in next week's Sunday Post! :-D

Oh and before I forget, as if that whole shpeal wasn't enough, check out what I what else I scored on Sunday for $60:

Not one but TWO used good condition Seven Labeled Carbon Fiber Wound Up forks for less than what ONE Yamaguchi steel fork cost me- uuuh, how awesome is my life??

As if it wasn't already obvious enough..

..after seeing Apple's new iPad I'm officially convinced that we're living in the future RIGHT NOW. Thing issss ffffffucking retarded! Normally I wouldn't even think about posting anything remotely geeky-techy like an Apple product but this fucker really is something else:

This is the type of product that those of us with laptops chained to our ankles have been thirsty for! God almighty what I wouldn't do to avoid having to handling that heavy ass 17" monstrosity of mine..

The thing Apple forgets to mention, as all manufacturers do when describing whatever hot new product they've come up with, is how their product is sure to open up a whole new realm of possibilities as it pertains to elevating the convenience of masturbating. I mean, I know dudes who jerk off to their iPhones for fuck sake (NOT ME I SWEAR!) so this thing is sure to be a wankers delight! Not to mention just how many more interesting web cam type videos are going to be out there once this thing is cam enabled. All it needs is some sort of phone headset thingy that can pop out, kinda like those tapes in Soundwave's chest, and you'd be good to go..

So while I think the Apple's new iPad has a really shitty name, the innovation and beginning of what's sure to be a new revolution in how those of us who can afford to blow wads of cash (amongst other things) on (all over AND in the cracks) a gadget such as this (because we were lucky enough to not be left behind by the system) will get to enjoy..

So start gathering up all your POV compilation links now cause lord knows you're gonna need em' reeeeeaaal soon!

I mean shit, I'm not even waiting for the second version like I do with every other new product- SIGN ME UP FOR ONE THIS INSTANT!!!

Remember those Cheap-ish lugs I got recently?

Well I checked back with the seller a little while ago and he had some nice Track Dropouts as well now:

I then asked him if he had any other components available and he sent me this:

So along with the Track ends I got myself a set of Stem lugs as well:

Total came to $66 bucks for everything + shipping..

Now all I need is some tubing, brazing materials and to quit getting high long enough to be productive again..

This CAN'T be unseen :'(

Heinous Maximus huh?!

One of the local NYC fixed board members rides. He's fine but as you can see, the bike is fucked along with it's stellar paint job..

Might make for an awesome Pen holder tho:

I'd be all type of stoked on that Nagasawa one! So long as it wasn't mine originally..
